Feedback on the Curent Released Version

Could we make sure the number of projects appear clearly at the start?

How can students delete a project?

Can we avoid that students upload a new project with an existing name? (do we really want this?)

Could we have "suns" or "smileys" (for instance) rather than "stars" for featured projects, or something more creative? (Astrid to propose something cool!?)

Can we have the mode COMPACT as default for the display? Maybe we should have more projects on display directly, as to ease the browsing? Like 100 projects?

Can we have a proper Register page to which you can refer to? Shouldn’t we have visitors to be equal to authors?

It would be nice if we could see whether a project has been commented, and how many comments it got. I am not sure the current configuration, with a specific page "behind" is the most appropriate...

We could have a sorting of the projects by the most commented...

We could have a sorting with "most uninspiring" in order to crowd out the bad projects!!!

A possibility to comment on the website itself? I have asked for a forum on the Team for instance but it does not appear...

Where could we have the map with all the projects???

There are 2 buttons "Edit" and "Edit the project" with 2 different functions and this confuses the participants who want to make a modification on authorship for instance, because they use the worng one and can’t access to the form of authors’ management

Sometimes, students upload a project without having added any author, so they are then unable to access their work anymore. The zone for authors management should not appear below the Save button, and maybe we could not save without an author? Or maybe hte one who creates the project is automatically author (even better)?

I think that it may be easier for visitors to see all the articles of a company if they are under the same name. If possible, they could be grouped altogether, to avoid confussion.

Could we have "suns" or "smileys" (for instance) rather than "stars" for featured projects, or something more creative? (Astrid to propose something cool!?)
I agree, suns or smileys are more creative than stars (which are used by wikipedia).
If not, I was thinking that maybe we could have different stages. For example, from a seed to a small plant, a bush and then a tree! depending on the number of likes. I do not know if it is possible. But it’s inspiring!

It would be nice if we could see whether a project has been commented, and how many comments it got. I am not sure the current configuration, with a specific page "behind" is the most appropriate...
Yes, maybe we should highlight it. Put the number of comments, etc. as in the document.

We could have a sorting of the projects by the most commented... We could have a sorting with "most uninspiring" in order to crowd out the bad projects!!!

I agree. Like this, the most uninspiring could appear at the end of the list, just to make sure that a visitor that only enters one can be inspired by seeing the most inspiring projects rather than the less.

A possibility to comment on the website itself? I have asked for a forum on the Team for instance but it does not appear...
I agree. Maybe we could create a section or subsection to let visitors feedback us.

Where could we have the map with all the projects???
    In the gallery section maybe?

    Done

How can students delete a project?
=> now with the big button "Delete" on the edit page.

Can we have the mode COMPACT as default for the display?
    => done

Shouldn’t we have visitors to be equal to authors?
=> this is exactly how the site works

    Work in progress

Maybe we should have more projects on display directly, as to ease the browsing? Like 100 projects?
    => work in progress

Can we have a proper Register page to which you can refer to?
=> yes, maybe with a link in the header of the pages (work in progress)

It would be nice if we could see whether a project has been commented, and how many comments it got.
We could have a sorting of the projects by the most commented...

    => work in progress

Sometimes, students upload a project without having added any author, so they are then unable to access their work anymore. The zone for authors management should not appear below the Save button, and maybe we could not save without an author?
Or maybe the one who creates the project is automatically author (even better)?

=> the creator of the project is automatically added as an author. But there is a bug with Internet Explorer version 9 that erases the first author of the list when the search form of an author is validated. This is a bug rather difficult to overcome but I will try to neutralize it as soon as possible!

    To discuss, decide...

Can we avoid that students upload a new project with an existing name? (do we really want this?)
=> can be a warning at the time of creation "Beware, this company already is the subject of a project on this site"

Could we have "suns" or "smileys" (for instance) rather than "stars" for featured projects, or something more creative? (Astrid to propose something cool!?)
=> you could have what you want: just decide :-)

Forum: I am not sure the current configuration, with a specific page "behind" is the most appropriate...
=> I will try with a small block to display the latest comments at the top right corner of the article

We could have a sorting with "most uninspiring" in order to crowd out the bad projects!!!
=> the last time we discussed this it was decided to put only assessments "positive"... No problem to switch to a notation with positive and negative assessments if you prefer...

A possibility to comment on the website itself? I have asked for a forum on the Team for instance but it does not appear...
=> a specific sector/article is a good idea but who had the right to participate?
All users with an account? Only members of the team?

Where could we have the map with all the projects???
=> may be a small clickable map at the top of the right column of the page "Projects"?

There are 2 buttons "Edit" and "Edit the project" with 2 different functions and this confuses the participants who want to make a modification on authorship for instance, because they use the worng one and can’t access to the form of authors’ management
=> yes, it’s confusing, should we change the title of the tab "Edit" to something like "Change content" or ...?

Is it possible to modify or erase comments?
    Thanks in advance!

yes, it is now possible to edit and modify its own forum posts. The only limitation: it should not be a post later in the same thread in order not to distort the unwinding of the thread...
      Thank’s for the idea!
